Visiting With Children

"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:14)

Children are an integral part of our church.  All children are welcome to stay in the sanctuary to worship with us!  We also offer a nursery for children under age 5 during the Worship hour, and of course, parents who wish their children to experience the worship hour in the sanctuary are welcome to keep their children with them.  If children become restless or tired, they can be taken to the nursery, and will receive loving care from our nursery team.Children attending services

Nursery for infants and younger children is available from 9:30am  through the end of the worship hour every Sunday morning.  Mrs. Shirley Crutcher is our Nursery teacher.  She is a professional early childhood teacher, mother of two grown daughters and grandmother of four. Mrs. Crutcher provides structured activity, a light snack and a very T.L.E. (tender, loving environment) for our little ones.  The Nursery is located on the ground floor of the Educational Wing and has a self-contained restroom.

Communion for children is at the discretion of the parent or acting guardian; children should be baptized before participating to ensure full understanding of the sacraments.

Sunday School for school age children begins at 9:30-10:30 and meets upstairs in the Educational Wing.
