God gifts people in many different ways…some are blessed with
musical gifts, teaching ability, organizational skills, interpersonal
skills … Here are some opportunities at Franklin Presbyterian Church to
“let your light shine”. If you would like to help in any of
these areas, please contact

Music
- Sing in Adult Choir
- Play in Hand Bell Choir
- Children’s Choir
- Special music (instrumental / solo vocal / small group vocal)
- Substitute organist / pianist
- Serve as an usher
- Serve as a lector (reader)
- Liturgical dance
- Offering prayer
- Give a children's sermon
- Your gifts and ideas are welcome in worship!
Teaching
- Adult Sunday School
- Children’s Sunday School
- Young Adult Sunday School
- Adult workshop or seminar
- Help with Vacation Bible School
- Work with middle school / high school youth group
- Help in Nursery
- Lead a Sunday Night Live session or series

- Work with local missions (i.e. Habitiat for Humanity, Summer Feeding Program)

- Help with annual yard sale, Bean Soup Lunch, mission fundraisers
- Work with membership recruitment
Building and
Grounds
- Help with cleaning the building
- Help with cleaning up grounds
- Lend handy-man/woman skills for minor repairs, painting, etc.
- Gardening
- Providing flowers for worship
Other gifts or
talents you are willing to share
- Visiting shut-ins or nursing homes
- Comfort meals
- Running errands or transportation to doctor visits
