Where Can I Serve?

“…like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”  –1 Peter 2:5

God gifts people in many different ways…some are blessed with musical gifts, teaching ability, organizational skills, or interpersonal skills. Here are some opportunities at Franklin Presbyterian Church to “let your light shine.” If you would like to help in any of these areas, please contact us.

Committees

We have nine committees that make decisions regarding the various programs at FPC. To see a list of committees and their respective chairs, visit our “Committees” page.

Music Ministry

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of the church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Worship Service

  • Usher – The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in welcoming worshipers, ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that all aspects of the worship experience run smoothly. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.
