Update: Youth Activities during Covid-19 Quarantine (please see following links)

Youth (7th Grade+)

"Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I arrive, give attention to the public reading of scripture, to exhorting, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders."  --1 Tim. 4:12-14

Youth Group Leader: Debbie Wyatt

Unless otherwise noted, the church will pay for youth group events. Donations to any events from families will be accepted, but they are not required unless otherwise noted!  We hope for ALL youth to be able to participate!!! The youth group meets Sunday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Cornerstone building. Dinner is provided and the meeting opens and closes with prayer. After a spiritual practice or Scripture study, we discuss upcoming mission projects/activities and play some games.
See the Events Calendar for upcoming events as scheduled!

"Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray."  -Proverbs 22:6
Nursery for infants and younger children is available from 9:30 a.m. through the end of the worship hour every Sunday morning with Ms. Shirley in the nursery. She provides structured activity, a light snack and a T.L.E. (tender, loving environment) for our little ones.  The Nursery is located on the ground floor of the Educational Wing and has a self-contained restroom.
Sunday School for school age children is from 9:45-10:30 a.m. and meets upstairs in the Educational Wing. We are currently using the Re:form curriculum, which focuses on helping children and youth to develop working theologies of their own. Rather than attempting to encourage dogma or doctrine, it aims to teach kids how to think theologically, how to ask questions, and how to answer their own questions together. All children and youth above age 5 are welcome!
Please accompany your children whenever they enter/exit the sanctuary. Kids’ activity bags and bulletins are also available at the back of the sanctuary on the table.
